JOIN US FOR OUR NEXT SUPRA AT SUPRA!

WHAT’S A “SUPRA”?

A “supra” is a celebratory feast, featuring too much food, plenty of wine, and toasts courtesy of a ‘tamada,’ sort of a super-toastmaster in charge of keeping the party going. (See above for a classic painting of a supra by the great Georgian painter Niko Pirosmani. Ours will be a little more informal - and coed!)

HOW CAN YOU EXPERIENCE A SUPRA WITHOUT FLYING ALL THE WAY TO TBILISI (NOT THAT THAT’S NOT A GREAT IDEA)?

Easy! Join us Thursday, September 10, for our next Supra at Supra! In addition to all the great khachapuri, khinkali, veggie dishes and more, we’ll have plenty of wine! Our Tamada, Dr. Mamuka Tsereteli, just happens to be the Founder of Georgian Wine House, America’s first importer to focus solely on the wines of Georgia.

We’ll try light & airy whites and ambers from Imereti in western Georgia before moving to the famous dark ambers and rich reds of Kakheti in the east. (You’ll have the chance to buy more of these wines, at a discount, after the dinner!) We’ll end the evening with a farewell round of chacha, the country’s national spirit.

HOW DO I GET IN ON THIS?

Just buy a ticket! (See below.) Your $140 ticket (plus tax and service) covers everything for the feast, including all food, wine, and desserts. Come with friends and make more at our supra table!

WHEN’S THE NEXT ONE?

Thursday, September 10, 7 pm!
